Wildlings Preschool

We would like to warmly welcome you and your child to Wildlings Preschool. We are a Preschool set in the grounds of Barby CE Primary School, where little people are enabled to dream big. We take children from 2 years to school age.

Our ambition is to provide a setting where children can explore, learn, and develop in an environment that is safe but still stimulates adventure. We are based in a classroom at the Primary School but strive to connect children with the outdoors. This usually means lots of play, getting muddy and going out in all weathers; rain or shine! Our main aim is to create a happy, warm and friendly atmosphere, where all children are loved, valued and respected.

We have created a curriculum that aims to provide children with the best start in life, enabling them to reach their full potential. We want them to leave us having reached our 9 goals. These are based on the 7 areas of learning in the EYFS. We implement this through adult-guided interactions (planned around children’s next steps) and a language-rich environment that exposes children to core books and songs. Overall, the curriculum seeks to create well-rounded individuals that are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for lifelong learning and responsible citizenship.
